Re-elect Teri Towner to Coquitlam City Council — October 17, 2026
I am running for re-election because I care deeply about Coquitlam and remain as committed as ever to its future. I believe real impact happens at the local level, and I want to keep putting my experience, energy, and enthusiasm towards meaningful work for our community.
In a time of uncertainty, people want confidence that their community is well-governed, responsive, and focused on what matters most. From growth and housing to transportation, public safety, and affordability, the issues facing our community are complex. They require thoughtful leadership, practical, common-sense solutions, and a collaborative approach - the kind of approach I’ve worked to bring to Council these past 12 years.
Over these three terms, I’ve learned that the best outcomes are achieved when we listen to one another, work together, and stay focused on building a community that reflects the values and priorities of the people who call Coquitlam home.
I am optimistic about Coquitlam’s future. Together, we can continue building a strong, resilient, and vibrant community where people feel connected, supported, and hopeful about what’s ahead.
It has been an honour and privilege to serve as your City Councillor. If re-elected, I will continue to be approachable, responsive and solutions-oriented. I will remain focused on making residents’ lives better while helping ensure Coquitlam remains a community where people of all ages and stages of life can thrive.
